Town Committee

Advisory Committee


Throughout the process of developing the Town of Cheektowaga Comprehensive Plan, the Project Team will be assisted by an Advisory Committee who plays an important leadership role for this project. The committee is comprised of representatives from the Town, adjoining communities, the County and local organizations who will oversee the preparation of the Comprehensive Plan. This committee will meet regularly with the project team to review progress, provide direction and generally guide the completion of the Plan. The members of the Advisory Committee include:

AdHoc Committee


The Advisory Committee will be assisted by an AdHoc Committee that was developed to broaden community representation and strengthen the foundation for the Plan. This committee is comprised of members from various homeowners’ associations, business groups and citizen taxpayer groups and committees, whose understanding of their local communities can provide valuable insights. The AdHoc Committee will work with the Advisory Committee to provide greater input and information for the development of the Plan and help to build community support for this effort. The members of the AdHoc Committee include:
